My name is Kris Tripp and I have over 35 years of experience in the pet industry. I am the founder and owner of Bark Now! LLC - "A unique pet grooming boutique".

From the early days of childhood, I knew that I would be involved in a career with dogs and cats. My family raised beautiful Brittany Spaniels that resulted in the appreciation for quality breeding and animal husbandry. I cared for, named and loved every single puppy that was born and I cried every time one was sold....our puppies were superior quality and the new owners also had to be of superior quality.

After many years of experience working for a large chain pet store, veterinarian and receiving my grooming certificate from UNH, I went to work as a groomer for Chris Bohman at Luv's Scrub in Hampstead. I believe I have recieved the best training possible to put my plan into motion. Bark Now! was officially established in 2001 after a fantastic dance routine by my 2 children to the song "The Rockafeller Skank" by Fatboy Slim.....don't ask us how, but we all started yelling "funk soul brother bark now" and my business was born. I have to chuckle now when I think of this story but all great things start with one moment and this was a great moment in time.

Many dogs and cats were groomed in my kitchen but it was time to grow and our boutique and new home on South Main Street officially opened in September of 2007 and we have been pampering the south end pets ever since. Through the kindness of Tom Trento and Capital Tile and Marble, we were able to renovate the old S & W Service Center and the facelift resulted in a beautiful bright boutique that features a waterfall and "zen like" atmosphere the moment you walk in the door.

My husband Steve and associates Ron Lacey and Harlan Hutchins spent many hours installing the beautiful tile and stone in our boutique. I hope you will stop by to see their masterpiece and while you are there, take a deep breath.....there should be lavender in the air to relax your tension away.....
